Jialin Wang

Personal Information

I am a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing the Master of Analytics under the IEOR department. My undergraduate study was at New York University Shanghai, double majoring in Mathematics and Data Science. My research interests include recommender systems, machine learning, optimization, big data and numerical methods. At NYU Shanghai, I graduated with Cum Laude and the highest honor in Mathematics: Major Honors in Mathematics. I am now working as a research assistant under Professor Mathieu Lauriere's supervision on Mean Field Game and Control.
Under the instruction of Professor Mathieu Lauriere, I conducted my undergraduate Mathematics senior thesis: Analysis for Fourier Neural Operator and its Applications;

Under the instruction of Professor Hongyi Wen, I conducted my undergraduate Data Science Capstone project: A Multi-stakeholder Book Recommendation System for Libraries.
I am actively seeking Ph.D. opportunities in Data Science, Applied Math, and Operation Research starting in Fall 2024.
